Weed Control in Vegetable & Fruit Gardens
Tuesday, June 16 at 6:30 p.m.
Have weeds ever been a problem in your garden? Join Randy Nelson, Clay County Extension Educator as he discusses controlling weeds in the garden. In addition, Randy will discuss the devastating exotic beetle, the Emerald Ash Borer.
Recreation on the Mighty Red: Now & Then
Monday, June 29 at 7 p.m.
Christine Laney of River Keepers will discuss past and present recreational uses of the Red River, in addition to discussing the objections of the River Keepers organization.
Standard & Experimental Fishing Opportunities in the Lakes Area
Monday, July 13 at 7 p.m.
Jim Wolters, Area Fisheries Manager in Detroit Lakes will discuss Fishing Opportunities in the Detroit Lakes Management Area. A short presentation will be given on species such as bass, northern pike, walleye, sunfish, catfish, nuskellunge and sturgeon. Lakes that currently have experimental fishing regulations will also be discussed.

Join us for hands-on activities and lots of fun!

TODDLER TIME
(No Toddler Time after 6/11; Resumes in Fall.)

Second and Fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
Join us for stories, songs, fingerplays, and other exciting hands-on activities (finger painting, PlayDoh, etc.) followed by some relaxed playtime where you can network with other parents and caregivers of children in the same stage of development.
