Library Services for the
Blind and Physically Handicapped

Visit any of the 13 LARL branch libraries for information on the Minnesota Braille and Talking Book Library, a regional library for the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped program.

Patrons with visual, physical or reading disabilities are eligible for Minnesota Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped services. Books and magazines are available on recorded cassette, in large print, and braille. A variety of equipment is available on loan from the Communication Center, State Services for the Blind.

The Minnesota Braille and Talking Book Library is one of many resources and organizations offering materials in alternate formats. Each has their own eligibility criteria. For further information visit the links provided.
