Using Your Library Card
Loan Periods
7 days (1 week) - instructional and entertainment
videos & DVDs.
21 days (3 weeks) - all books, books on tape & CD, magazines, pamphlets, artwork, software, music on CD, and multimedia kits.
56 days (8 weeks) - all institutional and homebound customers' materials.
Overnight - selected reference materials
at the discretion of the librarian in charge, to be returned within
the first hour open next day.
Renewals & Overdues
Any circulating item - except Interlibrary
Loan (ILL) - may be renewed once if no other customer is waiting
for it. Materials may be renewed at the library, over the phone
or through the public catalog.
If an item is overdue

Your
card may be blocked from checking out more materials.

Late
fees are charged immediately on late overnight and ILL items.

Late
fees are charged on the 21st day after 2-week and 4-week items
are due.

You
may be blocked from accessing the online databases.
Service charges/Late fees
$2 per item for materials 21 days overdue
$2 for each ILL item overdue
$3 for a lost item plus replacement costs
